Gingerbread House Tradition

The gingerbread house tradition continues! The next generation put their graham-cracker houses together, and man, did they have fun?! Courtney and Paige, with five children under the age of four, got together and had a little Christmas party. The kid’s decorated cookies, painted handprint Christmas trees, and of course, put together their very own make-shift gingerbread houses. I think more candy went in their tummies than on the house, but all had a fun time. A big shout-out to my girls who are fun and patient mommies!

Lauren and I tried a new gingerbread house the year, an OREO house. I was surprised to see such a variety of kits at the grocery store. I couldn’t help myself, and I had to try a new kit. The OREO kit caught my attention and went straight into my grocery cart! πŸ§‘πŸ‘΅πŸΌπŸ’‘πŸ

What holiday traditions have you started? Which ones do you still do? Are there traditions that have gone by the wayside?
