Where do I begin with you, watermelon?! 🍉 Watermelon, you are my favorite! 🍉 My Grandpa K. would always pick out his watermelon by thumping on them and counting their sugar spots. 🍉 If the watermelon wasn’t perfect when he sliced into it, he would take it back! 🍉 The man was very particular about his food. 🍉 Side Note: I remember him only buying Donald Duck Orange Juice, I know random. Anyhoo, there are so many opinions on how to pick a good watermelon and how to cut them. 🍉 Personally, I love watermelon, anyway and at anytime. 🍉 But, it does have to be really really cold!
GoodGrandma℠ would like to share a few watermelon IDEAS! 🍉 A couple of summers ago I made a watermelon cake. My Food and Family has a great recipe of how to make a Watermelon “Cake.” When I cut a watermelon, I like making watermelon fries. It’s an easy way to serve them, and more importantly, to EAT them!
