National Read Across America Day
GoodGrandma℠ has yet another Reason to Celebrate! It’s National Read Across America Day. It’s normally celebrated on March 2nd, Dr. Seuss’ birthday, but the holiday moves to the closest school day if it falls on a weekend. So, we are celebrating today!
Across the country, thousands of schools, libraries, and community centers will participate by bringing together kids, teens, and lots and lots of books. You too can join the celebration! Get your favorite books, gather the grandkids, get comfy, and enjoy reading together. It’s a day to celebrate reading!
