GoodGrandma℠ would like to share a Thanksgiving tradition as the activity of the month. This tradition was started by a dear friend and grandmother, years and years ago. As Thanksgiving dinner is finishing and the tables have been cleared, a Christmas coloring book and box of crayons is given to each of the children. I love this tradition for several reasons. One, it gives the children a quiet activity to do. Second, with Thanksgiving dinner wrapping up we can now turn our focus to Christmas, and three, I love to color with a new box of crayons, don’t you?

P.S. Dollar Tree sells Christmas coloring books! I do, however, go to Walmart to purchase the crayons. I like Crayola crayons the best!

P.P.S. Crayola also has free printable coloring pages online, if you would rather not buy a coloring book.
