St. Patrick’s Day Pot of Gold

Our GoodGrandma℠ Activity of the Month is making a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. The IDEA comes from Sorting Sprinkles. My helpers thought this activity was yummy! We snacked on Lucky Charms, while making our Froot Loops rainbow. Two Side Notes:

  1. We played dress-ups before and after our craft project.
  2. Months ago, Copelyn accidentally called our “craft” projects, “crap” projects. I now refer to them as “crap” projects, just because it makes me laugh.

Making a rainbow gave us the chance to sing some of the color songs on YouTube. I especially like the ones by Kids Color Songs. The links for the different color songs are listed here.

As we finished our rainbows we listened to the story How to Catch a Leprechaun by Adam Wallace and illustrations by Andy Elkerton.
