DIY March Wreath???

St. Patrick’s Day Wreath, Kind Of

Sometimes life gets busy. For example, you turn 50 years old, your family comes in from out of town, and your wonderful husband and daughters throw you an amazing birthday party. Of course, you love everything about it, but you forget to make a wreath for the new month. And, really what’s more important? So, you do what you gotta do. You purchase a wreath from JOANN Fabric and Craft Stores. Okay, it’s not really a wreath, but it is a cute holiday sign to greet the grandkids when they come to visit.

Not only did I decorate the front door, but the porch as well. I got LUCKY and found a fun “Lucky” sign at JOANN’s. The door handle hanging, as well as the flowers are from Dollar Tree. I purchased the door mat awhile ago. The pillows are the same pillows I use year around, they just have new cute pillow covers on them. My dear friend, Karlene Kreations, made them for me. She is a very talented quilter!

It was fun to decorate for St. Patrick’s Day. I have always wanted to throw a Saint Patty’s Day party for the grandkids, with green foods, games, and leprechaun traps. Maybe it will happen?
