GoodGrandma℠ has a white blanket tradition. I crochet a blanket for each new grand-baby. I learned to crochet when I was around the age of ten. A dear neighbor, Gladis Borup, taught me and I loved it! Over the years I have made many blankets, lots of hats, and several Christmas gifts (nose warmers and Pringle can candles). I have often said, “I am a jack of all trades, a master of none.” I’m okay at crocheting, but I keep to simple patterns.
Kiln It With Clay recently gave me a yarn bowl. I am so excited to start using it. Grand-baby number 19 is due in February, and it’s time to make her a white blanket. What traditions do you have with your grandchildren?
