My daughter, Madison, graduated last December from college with her bachelors in English and minors in Journalism and Marketing. As mentioned in an earlier post, Madison and I were planning on going to New York to celebrate her college graduation then but had to postpone it when Whitney came down with RSV. But we finally made it to the Big Apple!!! Instead of walking with her graduating class, Madison “walked” in Central Park. Madison and I did a LOT! It wasn’t a vacation per say, but rather one of those trips you come home exhausted and need a vacation from your vacation, but honestly, when you’re in New York City, you wouldn’t want it any other way.

We had four full days in the city and were on the go from the beginning, packing in quite a bit in each day. Of course, Madison being an English Major, we spent some time with Hans in Central Park and took 264 pictures of the New York City Public Library! We saw a couple of Broadway shows, took in two Major League Baseball games, stopped by several landmarks, and ate some really good food! I am so proud of Madison, for her hard work and dedication to her studies. It paid off! I loved every moment in the Big Apple with my college grad!
