Do you like cranberry sauce or gravy on your Thanksgiving Turkey? GoodGrandma℠ always serves cranberry sauce, and every Thanksgiving, it rarely gets touched, even homemade cranberry sauce. Several years ago, I decided to make a cranberry jello salad, in addition to the traditional cranberry sauce, and it was a hit! It’s now a yearly dish served at our feast. Here is my recipe. 🦃

Thanksgiving Cranberry Jello Salad
- 1 (6 oz) package raspberry Jell-O
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple or pineapple tidbits (do not drain juice)
- 1 (14 oz) can whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions: Dissolve the Jello-O in the boiling water. Add crushed pineapple or pineapple tidbits (juice too), whole berry cranberry sauce, and pecans. Stir. Pour in a glass dish and refrigerate until firm. Add whip topping of your choice.
It’s simple! It’s a dish you can make in advance. Those wanting the flavor of cranberry on their turkey have an additional option. Plus, everyone likes it, including the grandkids! 🧡👵🏼💡
