National Animal Cracker Day ~ April 18th

Who doesn’t love a yummy animal cracker?! Even if it’s the day after the national holiday. Animal crackers go back as far as the late 1800’s, and animal cracker boxes with the string date back to 1902. For GoodGrandma℠, the cute crackers remind her of happy childhood memories. It was a real treat to get a box of animal crackers.

Grandpa Bob liked the monkey crackers best! Grandma Connie liked the lion crackers because of the mane on the lion, making it a bigger cracker than the other animals. I personally I liked the gorillas best for similar reasons as the lion, plus they’re one of my favorite animals!

To have some fun photos for this post, GoodGrandma sent animal crackers from Amazon to a few of the grandchildren to take some pictures. Unfortunately or fortunately, Beau was not home (he was visiting Grandma) when his crackers arrived. Beau’s dad did a photoshoot for us. We hope you enjoy his photos. 🤣

When animal crackers come to mind, so does Shirley Temple and her song, Animal Crackers in My Soup. The song is a must when celebrating this National Holiday. Other IDEAS to celebrate; get some animal crackers and eat them with or without the grandkids, eat them while you reminisce your childhood.

More people ought to read this and understand this side of your story. I was surprised you are not more popular given that you definitely have the gift.
