Are you surprised? For the month of October GoodGrandma℠ is talking about Halloween costumes for our Furry Grands. We know, from a survey we took several months ago, that 68% of pet owners do not dress their animals in clothes. BUT, maybe just once a year??? Come on! It’s fun. Be creative and find the perfect costume for your own pet or your Furry Grands.
Here’s a few ideas to get you thinking:
- DOG: Hot dog, Lion, Chewbacca, Tiger, Beast from Beauty and The Beast, Scooby Doo
- CAT: Cat in the Hat, Vampire, Puss in Boots, Pirate, Mickey Mouse, Hello Kitty, black bat
- BIRD: Witch, lady bug, bumblebee, Big Bird, pirate, Angry Bird
This year Marco and Polo will be Thing 1 and Thing 2, I will be the cat from Cat In the Hat, and Papa Rich is humoring me and will be wearing is T’shirt of Marlin from Finding Nemo as the Goldfish in the story. Yes, I know Marlin a clownfish and not a goldfish, but we are going with it.
Don’t forget to take a picture on Halloween night! “Dog”ument (document) it and send us a copy. Good luck and have fun! That’s what it’s all about, right?
Side Note: Papa Rich commented saying all animals wearing costumes have a look on their faces of “I am so humiliated.” I’m not sure if I agree?! ????
