GoodGrandma℠ ‘s Recipe of the Month is brought to you by the one and only Grandpa Bob! My dad started making Apple Pancakes before I can remember. Grandpa’s Famous Apple Pancakes started when my dad made them for me and my siblings on Saturday mornings. This gave my mom, Connie, a chance to sleep in after a long week with the kids, he’s a GoodHusband! It also gave my dad a chance to catch up with us. Saturday mornings always started with the sound of the blender and the smell of delicious apple pancakes.

On special occasions, like birthdays, my dad would spell out your name in pancakes or at least try. Many times we would get our initials in pancakes. He is very good at making letters with pancake batter and has truly mastered the art of a slow and steady hand while tracing the letters with pancake batter on to the hot grill.

As time went by, Bob, now Grandpa, makes his famous apple pancakes for the grandkids. Whenever they come to sleepover he makes his pancakes! They all LOVE Grandpa’s Famous Apple Pancakes!
