A GoodGrandma℠ Approved product and activity to do with teenage grandkids, facial masks. When grandkids come to stay or have an overnighter with grandma, we suggest doing facial masks. We purchased six different brands of facial masks from Walmart. We paid $2.50 a mask.

Next, we had a facial party!!! We would like to share our opinion on the six different brands.

  • Masqueology ~ Gracie felt her facial was so, so. It was a pretty color mask, but wasn’t a fun peel off mask.
  • by nature from New Zealand ~ Elizabeth liked her facial, she gave it a thumbs up. It was a little messy to get off, but did a nice job with softening her skin.
  • Soo’AE ~ Colleen liked her mask and gave it two thumbs up. It was easy to do and easy to clean up. It made her skin silky smooth.
  • Shea Moisture ~ Jack was indifferent on his mask. It wasn’t an easy application or removal. We were grateful he participated.
  • Yes to tomatoes ~ Lauren liked her mask, but didn’t want others to help peel it off. She gave it a thumbs down because she didn’t get to take it off all on her own.
  • life of beauty ~ Jane liked her mask. It had several layers in the package. It took a bit of time to figure out which one to apply.

The facial masks took anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes to complete. We had ourselves a little dance party while the masks processed. It was a fun night! We highly recommend this activity with your older grandkids. As far as which mask is GoodGrandma Approve; We would say, Yes to tomatoes is fun to peel off, but make sure to let it dry all the way and don’t put it on too thick, and Soo’Ae and life of beauty are easy and definitely have less mess.

P.S. The facial masks can also make a great Halloween costume. 😉
