One of the things my grandson and I like to do when its bad weather or too hot outside and we want to avoid the UV rays, we head to a local business that sells outdoor play equipment. The business is called Backyard Adventures in Des Moines, Iowa. The last time we went there, my grandson said, “There are 8 playgrounds!” There were 8 playground sets, ready for us to play on! We can play as long as we want and it’s only $5.00! They don’t allow food or drinks in the play area, but they have a “picnic” room for lunch or snacks.
