GoodGrandma℠ would like to tell you a little bit about Ayden. One of the things grandmas do best is to brag about their amazing grandkids. Ayden has been dancing pretty much his entire life, and HE IS GOOD! Last year he had the opportunity to dance the lead in Pan, The Untold Story, in which he performed three separate nights. This year, Ayden will perform a total of eight nights. It’s hard enough to learn the dance steps and remember all of the choreography, but then try to do all of it in sand!

Ayden is a talented dancer and is very dedicated. He is passionate about dancing and you can usually find him practicing moves at any time. He doesn’t walk anywhere; he dances! In addition to being a talented dancer, he is a great student, big brother, son, and friend. He is polite and kind, and is nearly always wearing a smile.

The night Papa Rich, Lauren, and I attended, the weather did not cooperate and the performance was cut short. However, as you can see from the pictures, Ayden was supported by many family members at several of his performances. Attending recitals and performances is one of the many pleasures of being a grandparent–as well as supporting the parents (our own children) as they give their children opportunities to learn, grow, and encourage them to work hard as they seek to find their own passions.
